Wow, a question from the famous castle-anon! Very cool and thank you for the (perfect for me) question!

I’m an English major and a writer so I’m always reading. Trying to pick a favorite book is a little difficult but I’ll pick five that I really love a lot (in no particular order):

1. “Slouching Towards Bethlehem” by Joan Didion
2. “By the Lake” (or “That They May Face The Rising Sun”) by John McGahern
3. “The More I Owe You” by Michael Sledge
4. “I Am Charlotte Simmons” by Tom Wolfe
5. “Looking For Alaska” by John Green

As for Richard Castle, I’ve read all three Nikki Heat books and enjoyed them throughly. “Heat Rises” was a much needed break from some of my heavier school reading this semester! If they ever started putting out Derrick Storm books, I’d probably read those too (though I haven’t had a chance to check out the graphic novel yet).
